Across high-risk industries, organisations invest significant time, expertise and resources in controlling occupational exposures and protecting worker health. Exposure monitoring is improving, controls are advancing and our understanding of occupational hazards continues to grow. Yet workers are still developing occupational disease. This session explores the gap between what we measure, what we know and what we may be missing. It challenges us to think beyond individual hazards and workplaces, and consider what occupational exposure, and prevention, really looks like across a working life.
