Got a groundbreaking idea in workplace health, safety or wellbeing?

This is your moment to step into the spotlight.

Pitch your big idea and bring it to life with $50,000 in funding support from the EML Group (EML)

EML is calling on businesses and professional service providers with bold, innovative solutions that can improve workplace health, safety, wellbeing and injury management. Whether it’s research, a product, project or initiative, if it’s fresh, feasible and makes a real impact, we want to hear about it.

Finalists will pitch live on stage at the Workplace Health & Safety Show in Sydney (21 October 2026), in front of a panel of industry leaders and a live audience.

  • Entries open 20 May – close 24 July
  • $50,000 investment up for grabs
  • Pitch your idea. Make your mark.

How It Works

  • Your idea must align with core funding objectives: workplace risk management, injury prevention or injury management, as well as priority industries and focus areas.
  • Entries will be judged on: innovation, relevance, viability, scalability, impact and cost-effectiveness
  • The top three entries will be selected by the Mutual Benefits Program GM / CEO.
  • Finalists will deliver a 5-minute live pitch, followed by a 2-minute Q&A at the event.
  • The winner will be decided by a 50/50 split between audience and judges, and announced live on stage.
  • A dedicated webpage provides everything you need – including templates, criteria and tools to help you craft a compelling pitch.

Visit The Pitch Off webpage  for all the tools to help you shape your concept, craft your pitch, and stand out from the crowd.

 From idea to real impact

In 2025, Safety Compass pitched an augmented reality safety solution and took out the Pitch Off, winning both the judges and audience vote.

“Winning the Pitch Off gave us a valuable platform to showcase our technology and accelerate our growth. With EML’s support, we’ve strengthened our app and are now progressing pilots with leading Australian companies.” – Adam Poole, Co-founder, Safety Compass
