Car
Parking at the venue
The BCEC operates a 24 hour Southbank parking facility, located undercover with direct lift access to the exhibition centre.
Car parks near by
There is an abundance of convenient secure car parking available around BCEC.
Train
To get to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) by train:
- From the BNE airport, the Airtrain is a fast and direct option that takes about 20 minutes and has a station adjacent to the BCEC
- Take the South Brisbane Railway Station adjacent to the Convention Centre on Grey Street, or
- Take the South Bank Railway Station are the most convenient stations to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Bus
The Cultural Centre Station on Melbourne Street and the South Bank Busway Station corner of Colchester and Tribune Streets are closest to BCEC.
Bus routes:
- 125 and 200 serve the Exhibition Centre directly.
- The free South Bank Bus Loop (Route 86) also travels through the precinct and can be used to get to the BCEC

Citycats & Ferries
The public transport ferries CityCats operate everyday and stop at the South Bank River Terminal on the Clem Jones Promenade.
The inner-city ferry travels between the CBD, North Quay and Kangaroo Point, stopping at South Bank Terminal 1 and 2 on the Clem Jones Promenade.

Bicycle
You can cycle to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) by using the city’s network of bikeways and paths, such as the South Brisbane to West End bikeway and the Brisbane River cycleway.
Route suggestions
- From the north: You can take the Brisbane River cycleway which runs parallel to the river and can be accessed from areas like the Goodwill Bridge.
- From the south: You can use the Veloway 1 (V1) bikeway and exit at Eight Mile Plains, then follow the connecting bikeways and paths towards South Brisbane and the BCEC.
You can also cycle through the suburbs of South Brisbane and West End, utilizing the bikeway network there.
- From the east: You can use the V1 bikeway and exit at Eight Mile Plains, then follow the connecting bikeways and paths towards South Brisbane and the BCEC.
