Shailendra is a qualified professional engineer with a degree in Materials Engineering and Work Health and Safety (WHS). Additionally, Shailendra has completed the Company Directors’ Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

With over 25 years of extensive experience in Work Health and Safety, Shailendra has demonstrated expertise in WHS and wellbeing strategic planning and implementation. Before joining Optus , Shailendra held senior health and safety roles in large and complex organizations such as QBE, Wesfarmers, United Group Rail, Transport NSW, and BlueScope Steel.
