Global Mental Health Project Leader | Mental Health Ambassador
Amanda Anderson
Amanda Anderson is a keynote speaker, media contributor and author who explores what happens when people learn to hide, adapt and edit themselves to fit the environments around them.
Her work sits at the intersection of human behaviour, workplace culture and the invisible rules that shape how people speak up, perform, comply and respond under pressure.
A former Global Mental Health Project Lead with L’Occitane and a mental health ambassador with lived experience of significant adversity, Amanda brings both professional insight and hard-earned perspective to the conversation. She has spent decades observing what people say, what they don’t say, and what their behaviour reveals when the two don’t match.
For Amanda, workplace safety isn’t only about policies, procedures and physical hazards. It’s also about understanding the human behaviour underneath them.
Because people don’t always behave according to what they know. They behave according to what they’ve learned is safe.
And sometimes, the behaviour that once protected us becomes the very thing that puts us at risk.
