Sandra Lovaas is the Chief People Officer for Lendlease Construction, appointed to the global role in 2024 after joining Lendlease in 2015. 

Sandra is an accomplished senior executive with deep expertise in leadership, organisational culture, coaching, facilitation and dispute resolution, and is recognised for delivering people strategies that drive business performance. Throughout her career, Sandra has held a number of senior leadership roles focused on building high-performing cultures. She is driven by a strong belief that when people are empowered, supported and connected to purpose, organisations can unlock exceptional results. Within the construction sector, she has established a reputation for leading transformation, aligning culture with strategy and enabling leaders to navigate complexity safely and with confidence.

A skilled coach and facilitator, Sandra is trusted for guiding critical conversations and resolving complex issues. Her human-centred approach places wellbeing, inclusion and psychological safety at the forefront, ensuring change is both impactful and enduring. Sandra’s influence extends beyond Lendlease. She actively contributes to industry initiatives that advance inclusion, capability and ethical leadership. Sandra sits on a number of national industry committees and is an Alternate Board Member of the Australian Constructors Association. Sandra holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management) and a Graduate Certificate in Law from the Queensland University of Technology.
