Jeff brings over 30 years of expertise in Emergency Management, Security, and Counterterrorism, with extensive operational and tactical experience across high-level security operations both in Australia and internationally. A veteran of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and the Australian Federal Police (AFP), he has served in multiple specialist roles within law enforcement and protective security.

During his career, Jeff was a member of the Australian Federal Attorney-General’s Protective Service Unit, where he was deployed as a Counter-Terrorist First Response Officer at Sydney Airport during the Sydney 2000 Olympics. He also held assignments in the Prime Minister’s residence protection team, the Diplomatic Protection Unit, and the AFP Bomb Response Unit, before later serving as an Air Marshal. These appointments reflect his breadth of experience in counter-terrorism, aviation security, dignitary protection, and critical incident response.

Beyond his operational career, Jeff has delivered specialised training and advisory services to government, corporate, and community sectors. He has developed and conducted Active Armed Offender awareness and response programs for major hospitals within NSW Health, the Australian National Maritime Museum, and several campuses of a leading Australian university. His work has also extended to reviewing Emergency Management Plans for a major shopping centre group across Australia and New Zealand, with a focus on compliance, terrorism risk mitigation, and emergency response capability.

Drawing on decades of frontline, operational, tactical  and strategic expertise, Jeff continues to support organisations in building resilience, enhancing preparedness, and integrating safety, security, and counter-terrorism into robust emergency management frameworks.
