As General Manager of Safety and Compliance for OTR Group, one of Australia’s largest and most diverse retail and fuel networks, Duane leads a national team focused on embedding a proactive safety culture, simplifying compliance, and empowering people to make safety personal.

With over two decades of experience across operations, risk, and people leadership, Duane brings a pragmatic approach to integrating safety and wellbeing into the everyday fabric of business. He is known for his ability to connect strategy with behaviour — transforming complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable frameworks that protect people and enable business performance.

At OTR Group, Duane has led the development of the company’s Safety Masterclass, modernised its legislative and compliance systems, and championed initiatives that strengthen leadership accountability and cultural alignment across hundreds of sites nationally.
