Dr. Donna Stemmer is an internationally recognised expert in the measurement and management of business intangibles, with a career spanning finance, technology, and organisational performance.
Beginning as a division controller, she quickly recognised that employees, the most valuable asset, were treated as costs to be minimised. This insight fuelled her lifelong mission to value and grow human capital as a driver of resilience, agility, and profitability.
Donna has advised more than 850 organisations worldwide, designing systems to measure and strengthen intangible assets. She holds a BBA in Accounting and Finance, a Master’s in Information Technology, and a Doctorate of Science in Engineering. She was awarded a full doctoral scholarship after presenting her research on intangible valuation before the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in defence of colleagues accused of insider trading. Her evidence helped clear all charges. During her doctorate, she further refined the measurement and management of intangibles, resulting in two granted patents for EDS and a third patent pending.
As founder of WorkRight23, a charitable trust, she supports individuals facing workplace harms while helping organisations identify and eliminate psychosocial hazards. Her work demonstrates how investing in people is the foundation of sustainable success.
