Small Business Rebate Program
The SafeWork NSW Small Business Rebate program provides up to $1,000 for you to purchase approved safety items that help keep your workers safer. These safety items are designed to manage or eliminate hazards and risks that could cause serious injury, illness, or death in your workplace.
To be eligible, you must be a sole trader or employ between 0–50 full-time equivalent workers, hold an ABN, and have been operating for at least six months. You must also provide goods or services in New South Wales. If you run a charity or not-for-profit, you can also apply if you employ between 1–50 full-time equivalent workers.
You are required to complete an educational activity with SafeWork NSW (usually an online workshop) where you will learn about workplace health and safety, your rights and responsibilities, risk management, and how to manage WHS risks and hazards.
You will have an opportunity to attend an in-person educational activity with SafeWork NSW at the WHS Show and chat to inspectors and our team about any questions you may have about the NSW Small Business Rebate program at stand F02.
Spaces are limited so please pre-register to attend the in-person workshops. You will require WHS Show tickets to attend the workshops.
