Kate is a trusted management professional with over 25 years of global cross-sector experience. With an early career in public relations and advertising, Kate went on to hold roles across a broad range of business functions, in start-ups through to blue-chip multinationals.

Her diverse background led to Kate's direct appointment as CEO of a private capital partnership in 2022 after a decade of work in the scale-up ecosystem in senior roles in Australia and the United Kingdom. Alongside the founders, Kate’s focus was GTM strategy, embedding organisational structure, processes and systems, sourcing deal pipe opportunities, curating investor networks and providing advisory services across a range of mandates.

In mid 2023 Kate went on to establish Equity Hive, a consultancy primarily focused on working with female founders. With a strong focus on results-oriented growth strategies and capital planning, Kate has a broad client base of fast-growing scale-ups. She is regularly deployed in fractional leadership roles.

Kate's passion is the advocacy of the challenges society faces across all facets of Mental Health, and she holds several Directorships in both Australia and the United Kingdom in organisations focused on the sector, in addition to several Directorships in other industries.

Kate is an active angel investor and syndicate member and a well-known mentor on several programs including Techstars and Tech Ready Women.
