Dr Peter Prasad
Peter believes that work is the fulfilment of life’s purpose. As a medical doctor, Peter has the unique privilege of talking intimately to workers whose lives were affected by safety events, and contextualising this within organisational risk management and safety culture. His interest in safety stemmed from his time working in interventional cardiology when long hours, fatigue and workplace culture were factors in patient outcomes. His subsequent work in occupational health and safety over the last 15 years has traversed the spectrum of safety critical industries and high reliability organisations. But his passion and expertise are in organisational ethics, psychosocial risk management and in codifying workplace culture – or, seeing the maths in human behaviour.
